Our Corporate Social Responsibility
We are sensitive to our obligations to invest in the welfare of all our people, stakeholders, including our neighborhood, and in the wellbeing of our planet! A key highlight is our promotion of the 5S Methodology which is a Japanese philosophy that goes as 'a place for everything and everything in its place'.
While this philosophy has resulted in higher productivity in our workplaces, it has also helped our employees who take these principles to their homes to enrich their own lives. As part of the 5S program, we have also adopted a Creche school and implemented 5S standards along with donating teaching aids and learning materials for the children. We have also established a detailed social accountability system - SEDEX – to ensure we are benchmarking our impact. The system has been accredited by SGS.
We run and sponsor several initiatives aimed at the development and wellbeing of the society we operate around. During the recent COVID pandemic, we responded to the crisis by repurposing our facilities to the manufacture of about 50,000 masks which were distributed to health workers and police personnel. We also contributed cotton sheets to Government hospitals, and essential groceries to many near-by villages.
