About us
Coming from a humble paddy growing farmers' community, in the district of Namakkal in Tamil Nadu, where rainfall has always been scarce, and industries almost non-existent, our founders were seeking an opportunity to supplement the community's unstable income, and thereby contribute to improve the quality of lives of the people. Fortunately, they came across a struggling textile manufacturing company which was looking for a buyer. Thus started the incredible story of KKP back in 1985! It was sheer determination to turn around the destiny of a whole community battered by lack of sustainable income, and gainful employment opportunities, that our founders not only turned around the dying business, but went ahead establishing an enterprise out of it that made a mark in the industry as a champion of excellence and values! Today, KKP is fast accelerating to achieving the milestone of 1,000 Crores of turn over per annum. In doing this, it has created direct and indirect employment opportunities for over 13,000 people, including a predominant number of women, resulting in tremendous social upliftment amongst the local communities. Under the able direction of its second-generation leadership, KKP continues its legacy of promoting community development through investments into the social areas of education, skilling, sports and health. Moreover, KKP has also got the agenda of a Sustainable Future and Earth conservation at the forefront of its business and operations. It is significantly contributing to the Green Impact through adoption of planet friendly materials, processes and technologies.

KKP Group
Powered by its unstoppable drive for excellence, and supported by strong dedication, KKP has grown from what was a very modest beginning almost four decades ago, into a diverse organization with multiple business entities forming important parts of the supply chain. These entities together create a vertically integrated manufacturing model which gives us unparalleled efficiency and self-sufficiency, and thereby a strong competitive advantage. These advantages are eventually passed on in the form of value-additions to the customer. It is a perfect win-win situation!
Our group companies:
Established in the year 1985 with 850 Spindles, it rapidly expanded the capacity by regularly modernizing technology. Current installed capacity is 42000 Spindles and 480 Drums of RIETER Air jet Spinning, making 22 Tons of Yarns per day. Besides the spinning capacity, the mill has the dedicated capacity for Warping and Sizing preparatory for making 4.5 Million Meters/Month for making 190 CM & 360 cm Fabric widths and along with the weaving preparatory the company has installed capacity of the following looms:
- Somet Rapier 340cm- 11 Looms
- Sulzer Projectile 360cm - 122 Looms
- Picanol/Tsudakoma Airjet 340cm - 96 Looms
- 8 Sulzer Jacquard looms
Established in the year 2001 as a weaving company, its current total installed capacity is 142 Looms of Picanol/Toyota Airjet 190cm.
Established in the year 2006, its current installed capacity is 36000 Spindles and 320 Heads of RIETER Air Jet Spinning making 15 tons of yarns per day.
Established in the year 2006, the youngest among the group companies, it is engaged in manufacturing and exporting of bedding products.
Established in the year 1988, and fully powered by renewable energy, it is purposed to supply sustainable power to other group companies

P. Nallathambi
Chairman
Mr. P. Nallathambi started his inspiring journey with the setting up of rice mills. He went on to establish a spinning mill with 850 spindles in the year 1985 which was soon upgraded with weaving and made-ups units. This marked the beginning of our textile footprint. Thanks to his foresightedness and a strong conviction to design a Sustainable operating model, he started investing in renewable power sources like windmills and solar power which has led KKP to being a 100% Green Energy organization today! He continues to lead and inspire us with his business acumen and leadership qualities.
N. Sathesh Kumar
Managing Director
Mr. Sathesh Kumar completed his B.Tech and MBA and assisted Shri. P. Nallathambi. With his business acumen, he led the company's foray into sizing and weaving. In 2006, KKP FINE LINEN PVT Ltd, a bedding products line was established with exports across various countries. He brings added value to our company by being a brave decision maker and is actively involved in social welfare activities. He is a member of the Committee of Young Directors in SIMA and is a Rotarean (Paul Harris Fellow). He is also the Deputy Secretary & Treasurer of Namakkal District Basketball Association & Namakkal District Athletic Association. He has been successfully conducting state-level Basketball tournaments for more than 2 decades.
N. Subash Kumar
Joint Managing Director
Mr. Subash Kumar joined the establishment in 2004. He launched the ecommerce site and the brand “Callistia” in the USA, Europe, and India. He specializes in building brands and leveraging them for scaling the businesses up. In 2007, he went through Cotton course with world renowned ACSA International Cotton Institute affiliated with the University of Memphis, USA. Being an ardent Marathon runner, he actively participates in all the marathon events conducted in state of Tamil Nādu. He is the current president of Rotary club of Namakkal Elite where he engages in several philanthropic activities. He is a member of Corporate Connection India Premier Networking organization comprising of successful business executives and owners who are active members of a high-performance team that focuses on advance referral, marketing, and networking strategies.
